Tom McLaughlin, author and illustrator of The Diabolical Mr Tiddles will be here on Saturday February 25th at 11am to read his hilarious book about a mischievous kleptomaniac cat with a heart of gold. The book is getting some absolutely fantastic reviews and rightly so. Oliver Jeffers has called it 'an outstanding picture book debut', which is high praise indeed, and I suspect to see it up for some awards later this year (you heard it here first folks). Not only will Tom be here reading his book but there'll be Mr Tiddles related activities for the young audience to get involved in afterwards. There'll be colouring, puppet making and lots more, so come along. It's ideal for 5s and under, but everyone is welcome. Tea and coffee for the grown ups too. We are absolutely delighted that Tom's coming to the shop. He's a very lovely person and we massively rate him. The book is available at the bookshop right now at just £5.99 and of course Tom will be happy to sign copies while he's here.
