When's the paperback coming out?
Hardbacks are OK. But I sometimes struggle to understand how we put up with them coming out 9 months before the paperback! I wrote about this very thing once. HERE.
Anyway, over the years in my capacity as a person who sells books, lots and lots of people have said to me (something like), "Blimey, it's bit expensive in hardback. I think i'll wait for the paperback to come out."
Well, I got to thinking. Why don't I offer a service to remind people before a paperback does actually come out.
So that's what this is.
Is there a hardback book that you really want, but you'd prefer it in paperback?
Email me on iwantthepaperback@gmail.com with the book title and the author.
I'll reply, letting you know if I have a publication date for the paperback yet and how much it'll be.
If there isn't a date yet, I'll let you know and I'll add you to a database, where I can let you know once I know when the paperback is due!
You don't have to do anything if you don't want to, but usually, if the publisher has a date for the paperback, I'll be able to order it for you right there and then, so that you get it delviered to you as soon as it's published!
It's a FREE service and it's new, so hopefully it'll work. I think it will!
(I shall be adding pictures to this soon to make it look more appealing, but this'll do for the time being)
